We started minding pets about five years ago after our beloved cats had a difficult experience in a boarding facility. We asked ourselves is there a better alternative? An alternative that provides gentle, attentive care; one that feels familiar and safe for our pets? 

A question and a few favours for friends quickly turned into something much more.

We created Wags&Whiskers to provide a pet sitting service built around trust, comfort and quality care for pets and owners alike.

 

Since 2020, we've looked after countless of pets —  each with their own quirks, routines and needs. From anxious, senior cats to curious puppies who want to play with everything they see, cuddly rabbits to feisty hamsters who think our fingers are their breakfast, our approach is always the same: slow, respectful, attentive and tailored to what makes each animal comfortable.

We believe the best care happens when animals can stay in their own environment and receive one-on-one attention. We deeply value creating a sense of safety and trust with every pet we care for, as well as their owners. It’s a privilege to care for each pet and we treat that responsibility with the love it deserves.
